Happy Friday! I had no classes today, so I enjoyed sleeping in and relaxing. I did do some practice problems for Strength of Materials since my professor stressed (pun intended, for those of you engineers out there) how important they were. Despite the gray sky, the weather was fairly pleasant, so I took a quick trip to the beach. I read my novel for a bit there, enjoying the fresh air. I took a few pictures, too, but my camera battery was nearly dead, so I was somewhat limited. My backup was charging back in my flat; I wanted to be ready for my trip to Oxford tomorrow! What truly made my day, though, was receiving my race number for the Liverpool Half Marathon in the mail! The race is on the 27th of March, so I still have a few weeks to get ready to go. I'm definitely looking forward to it! Have a great weekend!
